Millwright, rigging, conveyors, and steel
We self-perform all four, which is why our outage schedules hold. Below is what each one actually includes and the capacity behind it.
Millwright and Machinery Installation
Setting, leveling, grouting, and laser aligning production equipment to the manufacturer's tolerance, then staying through start-up. We handle presses, extruders, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, mixers, and complete production lines.
What that includes
- Laser alignment to 0.001 in
- Epoxy and cementitious precision grouting
- Anchor drilling and chemical anchoring
- Start-up support and vibration baseline
Heavy Rigging and Machinery Moving
Engineered lifts and plant-to-plant relocations, with a written lift plan and a named lift director on every pick. We own the gantries and slide systems rather than renting them.
What that includes
- Capacity to 300 tons
- Hydraulic gantry systems to 500 ton combined
- Air skate and slide systems for low-headroom work
- Rigging engineering and load path review
Conveyors and Material Handling
Complete systems from receiving through storage: belt, bucket, screw, drag, and pneumatic. We replace in kind on an outage window or retrofit capacity increases with the line running where we can.
What that includes
- Belt conveyors to 1,200 feet per run
- Bucket elevators to 200 feet
- Chute, skirting, and dust control work
- Belt splicing, vulcanised and mechanical
Structural Steel and Platforms
Mezzanines, pipe racks, equipment supports, stairs, and access platforms, detailed and fabricated in our Portage shop and erected by our own ironworkers.
What that includes
- AISC-detailed shop drawings
- Fabrication to AWS D1.1
- CWI inspection on structural welds
- Galvanising and shop primer through certified partners
Credentials
How we qualify
Safety Program
EMR of 0.71, OSHA 30 for all supervision, site-specific safety plans, and daily pre-task planning on every job.
Union Craft
Signatory to the Millwrights, Ironworkers, and Operating Engineers, with access to trained manpower for large outages.
Welding Procedures
AWS D1.1 qualified procedures and welders, with CWI inspection available on structural and critical welds.
Insurance and Bonding
Bonded to $20 million per project, with riggers liability and installation floater coverage on every move.
