What OEM electronics buyers check before they send a BOM
Say which IPC-A-610 class you build to, Class 2 or Class 3, and say that soldering is done to IPC J-STD-001, then name the revision, which today means IPC-A-610J and IPC J-STD-001J. For IPC, individual employees earn operator and trainer credentials, while company-level qualification is a separate program, so name exactly what your shop holds and who holds it rather than using a blanket phrase.
