What OEM sourcing teams check before they call
A sourcing team moving a program wants proof you can carry the whole thing, and most of that proof is numbers you already know. Publish plant square footage and how much of it is production floor versus warehouse, the lines you run and how many shifts they run, SMT placement rates in components per hour if you build electronics, build volumes from prototype quantities up to units per year at full rate, whether you hold consigned, turnkey, or bonded inventory and how much space it takes, and the ERP or MRP system behind your traceability, named.
Name the workmanship standards too, and name the revision your operators are certified to rather than the standard alone. For electronics that means IPC-A-610 at the class you build to, Class 2 for most commercial and industrial work or Class 3 for high reliability and harsh environment products, plus IPC J-STD-001 for soldered assemblies and IPC/WHMA-A-620 for cable and wire harness assemblies. For mechanical, plastics, and chemical work, name what you inspect to: ASME Y14.5 for geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, first article inspection reports for aerospace parts, and PPAP submissions for automotive programs at the level your customer requires. From prototype builds to production, without exposing controlled data
Most programs move through EVT, DVT, and PVT builds before volume production, and OEMs want to see that you have run that sequence before. Show your NPI stages, the design for manufacturability feedback you give at each one, and a short blurb for representative programs, kept general where NDAs apply. One line does the job: industrial IoT gateway, DVT through production, SMT with conformal coating and enclosure box build, turnkey material, annual volume stated in units. Ordinary commercial drawings that carry no export or CUI markings can still use a standard upload, so a non-defense program is not slowed down. If you do defense work, say you are ITAR registered with DDTC rather than ITAR certified, since DDTC registers companies rather than certifying them, and keep controlled technical data off a standard web form and mailbox, because ordinary web hosting and email are not set up to handle it.

How is this different from a job shop or CNC machine shop website?
A job shop site sells a range of parts and fast turnaround. A contract manufacturing site sells a partner for a whole program: assembly, box build, component sourcing, inventory, NPI, and ongoing quality reporting. We organize the pages around that program lifecycle instead of a machine list, though your in-house processes still get their own pages.
How should certifications be worded on a contract manufacturing website?
Name the full standard, the edition printed on your certificate, and the registrar that issued it, in the same words the certificate uses: certified to [standard and edition] by [registrar], certificate number [number], valid through [date]. Never write "ISO certified." ISO writes standards and does not certify companies, so the mark available to you is your certification body's, and the cleanest proof is the certificate itself, published or linked. For automotive, write certified to IATF 16949 by [registrar] rather than "IATF certified," and note that IATF 16949 adds automotive requirements on top of ISO 9001 rather than replacing it, so you have to meet both. Aerospace buyers look up your accredited 9100-series certificate in the IAQG OASIS database, so keep that listing active. For medical device work, say you are FDA registered and certified to ISO 13485 by [registrar], never "FDA certified" or "FDA approved facility." For defense work the accurate phrase is ITAR registered with DDTC, and registration grants no export rights on its own.
