Four recent programs, what the customer was up against, and the numbers that changed.
A 14 foot planter toolbar with 62 welds was taking two welders most of a shift. We built dedicated fixturing, moved it into a two-station robotic cell, and brought cycle time from 5.5 hours to 70 minutes with first-pass weld acceptance above 99 percent.
A construction OEM was buying plasma-cut boom plates and machining the bevels afterwards. Moving the family to our 12 kW fiber laser with common-line nesting removed the secondary op entirely and lifted plate utilization from 71 to 86 percent.
Twelve foot side panels were arriving at the customer out of flat and needing rework at the line. We added crowning compensation and angle measurement on the press brake and held the flange within 0.5 degrees over the full length.
We took over a frame, tank, and valve subassembly that the OEM had been building in house. It now ships painted, plumbed, pressure tested, and sequenced to their line, freeing 6,000 square feet of their assembly floor.
Manufacturing and Production
Most of our customers came to us with a part moving between four vendors and a week of freight in between. We pulled it under one roof, cut the lead time in half, and took the finger-pointing out of the corrective actions.
