Our story
Independent Since 1991.
Lindqvist started in 1991 as a four-machine Swiss shop making instrument components for the medical device companies that were growing up around the Twin Cities. The founder, Karin Lindqvist, had spent eleven years running machining for one of them and thought the OEMs deserved a supplier who understood what an FDA audit felt like from the inside.
We added molding in 2002, built our first cleanroom in 2008, and brought packaging and laser processing in house over the following decade. Every step came from the same request: a customer asking us to stop shipping their parts to someone else for the next operation.
Today we are 240 people in a 95,000 square foot facility, working on around 140 active programs for device companies ranging from venture-backed startups to global OEMs. We are still independent, and we still think the most useful thing we do is talk to your engineers early.

Twenty years in device quality, including two at a notified body. She runs every customer audit personally.

Founded with four Swiss lathes making instrument components.

Added medical injection molding and in-house tooling.

Built the first ISO Class 7 cleanroom for finished device assembly.

Brought laser marking, laser welding, and sterile packaging in house.

Expanded to 95,000 square feet and doubled cleanroom space.
